Ready to make a positive impact while having a blast? Volunteer for the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo and become a crucial part of the excitement, camaraderie, and success that defines this community event! Our dedicated volunteers are the heartbeat of the fair; without them, the magic wouldn't happen. 

Volunteer Opportunities: Find Your Perfect Fit

• Information Booth Ambassador: Be the go-to person for patrons seeking information on activities and events across the fairground. It's a chance to meet new people, enhance guest experiences, and have a blast. Open to ages 16 and up. 
• Greeter/Gate Ambassador: Keep the crowd flowing smoothly by directing fairgoers to ticket booths and entrance points, especially during busy periods. You can make guests feel welcome as you guide them through ticket options and main events. Open to ages 16 and up. 
• Ticket Taking: Scan tickets and manage ticket lines at various locations on the Fairgrounds. Positions are available indoors, outdoors, and standing. Open to ages 18 and up. 
• Ticket Selling: Sell tickets for various Fair events (cash and credit card accepted). Positions are located at various points on the Fairgrounds. Open to ages 18 and up.
