Join the Fun: Volunteer at the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo, July 25-August 3, 2025!

Are you enthusiastic, energetic, looking to meet new people, be part of the community, and have fun at the 2025 Douglas County Fair & Rodeo? If so, we need your help to make this the best Fair & Rodeo Douglas County has seen! Volunteer opportunities are available July 25-August 3, 2025 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock, CO.

Our busiest and most exciting days fall on the second weekend, August 1 – August 3, and we need all hands on deck! This is when the biggest crowds arrive, the energy is high, and the Fair & Rodeo is at its peak. If you’re up for the challenge and excitement, this is your chance to be right in the heart of it all!

Volunteer Opportunities: Find Your Perfect Fit

• Information Booth Ambassador: Be the go-to person for patrons seeking information on activities and events across the fairground. It's a chance to meet new people, enhance guest experiences, and have a blast. Open to ages 16 and up. 
  
  
• Greeter/Gate Ambassador: Keep the crowd flowing smoothly by directing fairgoers to ticket booths and entrance points, especially during busy periods. You can make guests feel welcome as you guide them through ticket options and main events. Open to ages 16 and up. 
  
  
• Ticket Taking: Scan tickets and manage ticket lines at various locations on the Fairgrounds. Positions are outdoors and standing. The position is open to ages 18 and up. 
  
  
• Ticket Selling: Sell tickets for various Fair events (cash and credit cards accepted). Positions are located inside and seated at various points on the Fairgrounds. Open to ages 18 and up. 
  
  
• Golf Cart Driver: This position will shuttle guests and assist with various transport requests. Must be agile, ages 18+, with a valid Colorado Driver's License. Prior knowledge of the Fairgrounds and operating a Golf Cart is also recommended.
