Greeters
- Description:
Are you enthusiastic and energetic, looking to meet new people, be part of the community, and have fun at the 2025 Douglas County Fair and Rodeo?
Please feel free to volunteer for as many shifts as you like—there is no limit. Each volunteer will receive four complimentary grounds tickets, refreshments, snacks, miscellaneous shift supplies, a chance to win door prizes, and more!
Our busiest and most exciting days fall on the second weekend, August 1 – August 3, and we need all hands on deck! This is when the biggest crowds arrive, the energy is high, and the Fair & Rodeo is at its peak. If you’re up for the challenge and excitement, this is your chance to be right in the heart of it all!
Greeter: This position answers questions, gives directions, and assists with the flow of ticket lines at various entry gates on the grounds. It is located outdoors, primarily at entry gates. Positions are standing and walking.
- Time Commitment:
Shifts range in length, but all will end by 10 p.m. You choose the shifts you would like to volunteer for; there is no limit on how many.
